Chax – Community Rules

Chax helps adults aged 18 and over meet people and plan activities. These rules apply to profiles, photos, events, messages, comments, peer reviews and conduct connected to people met through Chax. Read them with the Terms of Use.
1Identity and honesty
Represent your age and identity without misleading others. Impersonation, fake profiles, unauthorized use of another person's photos and account transfers are prohibited. People under 18 may not create accounts. Photo verification does not guarantee legal identity or future behavior.
2Respect and boundaries
Insults, threats, stalking, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, blackmail, repeated unwanted contact, sexual harassment and non-consensual sexual content are prohibited. Respect clear boundaries: people may decline a message, meeting, photo or physical contact at any time. Do not post nudity or sexually explicit material in public profiles or content. Child sexual abuse material and related conduct are strictly prohibited.
3Privacy and content
Do not disclose another person's messages, photos, contact details, location or private life without permission. Obtain the necessary permission before posting a person's photo or event image. Do not upload content that infringes copyright or other rights. Peer reviews must be honest, relevant and respectful; do not use them to insult, target or manipulate someone. An AI summary is not a definitive judgment about a person.
4Safe events
Hosts must accurately describe the place, time, participation rules and any fee, and reasonably inform attendees about changes. Illegal events, violence, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, buying or selling illegal drugs or other prohibited goods, and facilitating such activities are forbidden. Do not film or share an attendee without permission. Respect others' boundaries during in-person events too.
5Fraud and misuse
Requests for money or pressure to send money, deceptive investment or crypto offers, collecting identity or financial details, spam, unsolicited advertising, mass messaging, malicious false reports, automated accounts, scraping, security exploitation and evasion of account restrictions are prohibited. Chax is not a marketplace for commercial listings or product sales.
6Enforcement and review
Report a concern through the in-app reporting tool or [email protected]. Depending on the circumstances, Chax may hide or remove content, warn a member, restrict an event or feature, suspend an account or close it. The nature, repetition and safety impact of a violation are considered. Immediate safety or legal needs may require action without prior notice. Where appropriate, we provide a reason; see Reporting and Appeals for review options. Mandatory legal rights remain.
